We weren’t even engaged when we found our dream location for our wedding. We were in Mallorca doing some location scouting for my retreats when we fell head over heels in love with our special hill top paradise. I have held three of my White Light Yoga retreats in this magical place and for us, we just knew it was where we had to get married.
Toasting marshmallows on the bonfire and sharing our dreams and fears. Candy floss skies filled with pinks and swirly blues with only the sound of the birds to sing us to sleep. Afternoons laughing on the boating lake, bikini clad girl gang. Yoga in the morning and evening. Creative workshops that brought us together. A yoga retreat that was so much more than a yoga retreat. Welcome to the White Light Yoga TRIBE. Welcome to creative magic!
Having a solo yoga practice is a really powerful and transformative thing. I am so grateful that I am equipped with all I need to sit and breathe, to flow, to practice every single day. It keeps me healthy. It gifts me the opportunity to meet myself each morning, New. Not just relying on what I knew about myself yesterday but allowing space for discovery and connection. I don’t know who or where i’d be if I didn’t get on my mat and breathe.
In the last year or so I have been making a conscious effort to move over to an all natural beauty regime. Strangely, eating natural wholesome foods has been the norm for me for years but this last little piece of the puzzle didn’t really slot into place till the start of this year. Our skin absorbs what we are rubbing into it, of course! So why have I been using products that contain words I can’t pronounce, and have huge warnings on them like; if this goes in your mouth call the doctor now or you will die (or something like that)

Arriving into Holbox is like arriving to the most colourful, vibrant, laid back land ever. Think big bowl like glasses full to the brim with the best Margarita of your life, golf buggys to drive around the island in, colourful shops with dream catchers everywhere and lots of bright murals on the walls. Landing in Holbox was fun, fun, fun! With barely any cars on the street, and only a small portion of the island inhabited, getting a golf buggy to roam around in is a MUST and it is absolutely hilarious!
In Tulum you don’t have to search far to find amazing cafes and restaurants that do incredible raw and vegan food. One thing I think London is missing is vegan eateries with a really cool vibe! I always feel that although the food may be good, the atmosphere is Dry AF and the interior is uninspiring. Tulum is a whole different ball game. It is beautiful and vibey beyond belief.
have just arrived home from an incredible two week holiday. An actual holiday where for the first week I didn’t even look at my phone, not even to take photos or check the time, I just totally lost myself in the moment of being in the most vibrant and colourful place. It was a long time coming, two weeks off with my main squeeze in paradise.
